If you are planning to take the exam within Italy, you have plenty of options. The Ministry has designated the following Italian universities as official testing centers:

Don’t want to travel to Italy just for the exam? You don’t have to! The Ministry has confirmed that the IMAT 2026 will be held in the following international countries and locations:

• Europe: Albania, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.
• Asia & Middle East: Azerbaijan, China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and UAE (Dubai).
• Americas: Brazil, Canada, and the USA.
• Africa: Kenya, South Africa, and Tunisia.

Note: The exact venue addresses for these international locations are typically confirmed on your Universitaly portal once you complete your registration and pay the exam fee.

How to Choose Your Test Center

When IMAT registrations open on Universitaly, you will be asked to select your test center.

• If you are taking the exam in Italy: You MUST take the exam at your first-choice university.
• If you are taking the exam abroad: You can simply select the international test center closest to your home country, regardless of which Italian university is your first choice.
