Free IMAT Past Paper Score Tracker (Automated Excel & Google Sheets Template)
If you are gearing up for the IMAT, you already know that practicing past papers is the golden rule. But let’s be completely honest just taking the test isn’t enough. If you aren’t tracking your scores, analyzing your mistakes, and watching your progress over time, you are leaving precious marks on the table.
As a third-year medical student who spends a lot of time teaching and breaking down tough concepts for my own students, I know exactly how overwhelming admissions test prep can feel. You have a mountain of syllabus to cover, and calculating those tricky IMAT decimal scores by hand every single day is a headache you just don’t need.
That is exactly why I built the Automated IMAT Score Tracker. I wanted to create a simple, stress-free way for you to map out every past paper from 2011 to 2025 and visually see your improvement.
Today, I’m giving away this template for free here
Why You Need This Tracker
The IMAT scoring system is notoriously unforgiving. You get +1.5 points for a correct answer, but you lose -0.4 points for every incorrect one. Leaving a question blank gives you 0 points.
Doing that math manually after a grueling 60-question mock exam is exhausting. This tracker does all the heavy lifting for you.
Here is what the template does:
- Zero Math Required: Just type in how many questions you got right, wrong, or left blank. The sheet automatically calculates your total score out of 90.
- Accuracy Percentage: It instantly shows you your accuracy rate, helping you decide if you need to guess less and skip more.
- Visual Progress: It includes a beautifully simple line graph that maps your scores from 2011 to 2025 so you can physically see your hard work paying off.
How to Use the Template
I made sure this tracker is as easy to use as possible. Here is your quick step-by-step guide:
